Michael Quinn, Piano (Administrator)

Michael Quinn is a music graduate of Trinity College Dublin and King’s College, London. He studied piano and organ at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, where he was awarded several scholarships. He holds diplomas in both piano and organ, and completed a Master’s degree in organ performance at the Royal Conservatory, The Hague, assisted by a scholarship from the Dutch government. Alongside his interest in music education, Michael is the co-founder of Dublin Sound Lab (www.dublinsoundlab.ie), a contemporary electroacoustic group, and of The Crow Street Consort, a vocal and instrumental ensemble which performs 17th- and 18th-century music. He also enjoys accompanying singers, and performed a programme of French song, with soprano Catherine Redding at the Hugh Lane Gallery earlier this year.
