Jude began her music career at an early age in Wales, winning many prestigious competitions, including the Urdd National Eisteddfod Gold Medal on several occasions.

As a member of the North Wales Youth Orchestra, and subsequently the National Youth Orchestra of Wales, together with established choirs and brass bands, she played piano and percussion in well-known concert halls in the UK and across Europe.  She studied at the Welsh College of Music, Cardiff, where she was selected to undertake regular additional keyboard tuition at the Royal College of Music, London.  She has previously taught in schools in both the UK and the USA. Prior to moving to Ireland Jude was employed by Yamaha UK as principal teacher at the Yamaha Music Centre, Chester.  During this time, she undertook virtuoso performances of well-known piano concertos at the Birmingham Symphony Concert Hall.

She has worked as a music teacher in several schools in South Dublin since moving to Ireland in 2000, including Castle Park School, Dalkey and St Andrew’s College, Booterstown.  Jude is currently employed as Orchestral Director and Music Teacher with Rathdown Music School.

Jude has also worked as accompanist for numerous choirs and instrumentalists and for the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music and the Royal Irish Academy of Music at local examination centres throughout the UK and Ireland.  She has also played percussion with the Dublin Symphony Orchestra and worked as a session musician with RTÉ.
