Rathdown Music School has two, fifteen-week terms per year. Applications will be accepted after the term has started, however, early application is advised — especially if you have a particular day or time in mind. Rathdown Music School encourages those of all ages, from pre-school to adults, to learn and enjoy music. Vocal tuition is offered in a range of styles, including musicals and popular styles as well as classical repertoire. Instrumental tuition is available in a wide variety of instruments: piano, guitar, harp, violin, cello, recorder, flute, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon and percussion. The Music School has a purpose-built Auditorium as well as seven teaching rooms, each equipped with a Kawai piano.

1.30–2pm, THE HUB. Rathdown past pupil and former Music Prefect Zelda O’Brien (concertina), Luke O’Brien (uilleann pipes, flute) and Clare McCague (harp teacher at Rathdown Music School) will be giving a Lunchtime recital, in the lead-up to St Patrick’s Day on the 17th March. Admission free.
